Maritime Telephone and Telegraph Company : ウィキペディア英語版
Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Company

The Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Company (MT&T, later MTT) was founded around 1910 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and provided telecommunications solutions to Nova Scotia until 1998 when it merged with Island Telecom, NBTel, and NewTel Communications to form Aliant (now Bell Aliant).
Many payphones in Nova Scotia are still MTT-branded.
In 1989 MTT purchased the last independent telephone operator in Nova Scotia, the Pugwash River Mutual Telephone Company Limited, giving it a monopoly for the telephone service in the province.〔(Nova Scotia Telephone Companies )〕
